High Altitude Stimulation Testing

High Altitude Stimulation Testing

The High Altitude Simulation Test is part of a respiratory evaluation and it determines whether you need supplemental oxygen when you fly on an airplane or go to a higher altitude.

The standard test simulates an altitude of 8,000 feet, which is the same atmospheric pressure as the cabin of a commercial airplane and helps your doctor to determine what is the best treatment course for you.
